## What Zaprep Does

- **Comment → DM automation**: When someone comments on an Instagram post, Zaprep instantly sends them a personalised DM
- **Keyword triggers**: Automations fire only when a comment or DM contains specified keywords (e.g. "LINK", "INFO")
- **Post-specific rules**: A rule can be scoped to a single post so only comments on that post trigger it
- **Follow gate**: Requires the commenter to follow the account before receiving the DM; queues the action and delivers it automatically when they follow. Configurable retry tolerance for Instagram's follow-status check, which can lag right after a fresh follow
- **Message variations & personalization**: Add 2-4 message variations per action, sent in random order so replies don't look automated. Messages support `{{first_name}}`, `{{username}}`, and `{{account_username}}` variables to personalize each DM
- **Lead collection**: Mid-DM flows ask for the user's email address and store it in the Contacts dashboard
- **Story reply and Story reaction triggers**: A typed reply to your story, or a quick emoji reaction (tapping the emoji tray), can each trigger their own DM automation — set up separately, since a reaction has no typed text to match keywords against
- **Retrigger cooldowns**: Controls how often the same person can trigger an automation — once ever, every N days, or unlimited
- **Link shortener + click tracking**: Shorten any URL to a `zaprep.com/l/…` link and track clicks (count, timestamp, and visitor country via MaxMind). DM automation buttons are shortened automatically; per-rule click totals appear as "Link Clicks"
- **Post & reel performance**: Views, likes, comments, shares, and saves shown per post/reel, plus a 30-day total views metric across connected accounts
- **Unified inbox**: All DM conversations from all connected accounts in one place
- **Account management**: Disconnect an Instagram account (reversible, can reconnect later) or permanently remove it (deletes the account and all its automations, contacts, DM history, and analytics — cannot be undone). Owner-only
